Political Affiliations

The "tea party" used to be the republicans and what are now republicans used to be the democrats and what is now democrats used to be extreme wackos and out of touch. Everything has shifted left. I used to be a republican because I'm conservative and believe in smaller government and more individual freedom. But now I call myself Independent. I will no longer claim any party. I will vote for the one whose beliefs are the closest to my own and I don't care what party they belong to.
